Heroes Rock the River Heroes Rock the River is an event that raises funds and connects veterans to organizations that can Watch for the lineup announcements.

The June 23 & 24, 2017 event was postponed due to severe storms in the area. The anticipated summer date to be determined by complete participation by all the veteran organizations in order to connect them with veterans in need. The Heroes Event will take place at Pacific Place in Lyman, SC on November 10th, the day before Veterans Day and the one year anniversary when Warrior 360 helped save the

home of a Greer veteran who was wounded in Iraq. The organization: Warrior 360, a Virginia-based nonprofit has helped numerous veterans in the SC area. The entertainment and speakers for the evening will be well worth putting on your calendar. The information below is about the postponed event in June and will give you an indication as to what to expect next summer at the Lyman Amphitheater and on a smaller scale, the quality of the event being held on November 10, 2017.

‘Heroes Rock the River’ is one of the most intimate music festivals in the country in which Grammy winning artists entertain attendees at the 2 day event to be held annually. The Upstate Music Festival is a patriotic event, paying tribute to our veterans and active military. The purpose behind this ConcertsBeCause™ event is to continue to connect veterans with organizations that can provide immediate assistance, such as Warrior 360 who stepped in and prevented a local wounded veteran and his small children from losing their home. The purpose is also to raise funds to help Warrior 360 to continue doing what they do. The artist lineup includes Ross Childress, original lead guitarist, and Shane Evans drummer, both original members of the multi-platinum band Collective Soul who has a catalog of number one hits including Rock Anthem ‘Shine,’ The World I Know,’ ‘December,’ ‘Run’’ and more. Eleven Standing Still, a rock band on the rise, has shared the stage with some of the biggest bands that have rocked the charts; such as Shinedown, Godsmack, Rob Zombie, Megadeath, Three Doors Down and they have appeared on 10 Television shows such as Fox Sports Channel, Spike TV, MTV and more.There are more bands to be added including some great country artists, such as CMT Artists Dave McElroy and 'Cry Like Memphis' Mike Watkins, The Ville from Knoxville, Juliana Hale and Band of Roses. Elaine Penn and Nancy Pitkin. Meet representatives from Warrior 360, UCLA Operation Mend, and more.

Heroes Rock the River

The first Heroes Rock the River event took place at Pacific Place in Lyman, SC on November 10th, 2017 the day before Veterans Day and the one year anniversary when Warrior 360 helped save the home of a Greer veteran who was wounded in Iraq. We have a date and venue set for 2019 in Gold Hill, North Carolina. More details to come. We are currently looking for a venue for this November 2018. We plan to build on this every year and reach veterans in as many areas as we can. The information below is about the postponed event in June that had promised to be a huge success and turnout. The storms that came in washed it out but we prevailed with the indoor November event.
