❤️🎉❤️🎉 Today, the Married 4 Life Walk family is celebrating a very special couple — Oliver “Big O” & Dawn Anderson — as they celebrate their 13th Wedding Anniversary and both of their birthdays!!

Many of you know Dawn as the mother of our National Marriage Ambassador, Shamari DeVoe but to us, Big O and Dawn are much more than that. They have become an important part of the Married 4 Life Walk family and movement, and we are grateful for their love, support, and commitment over the years. Since the very beginning in 2017, they have been faithfully walking, praying, laughing, dancing, encouraging couples, and supporting this vision every step of the way.

Their marriage is a beautiful reminder that lasting love is built through commitment, friendship, perseverance, and the decision to continue choosing one another through every season of life.

Big O and Dawn, thank you for your unwavering support, your joyful spirit, and the example you continue to set. We pray that this next chapter is filled with joy, good health, Divine Love, Divine Protection, Divine Light, and countless Blessings.

One of the greatest blessings of the Married 4 Life Walk is that it is powered by people who serve with love, humility, and a genuine heart for others.

Today, we want to recognize and thank our incredible volunteer teams who helped make the 8th Annual Married 4 Life Walk Weekend Celebration in Birmingham a success.

A special thank you to Dr. Marissa Layton and Team McGregor — Mike, Brenda, Kennedy, and Madison McGregor — for your tireless work, flexibility, patience, and willingness to serve wherever needed. While many people only see what happens during the event weekend, we know the countless hours of preparation, problem-solving, and behind-the-scenes work that takes place in the weeks leading up to the event.

Dr. Marissa Layton has faithfully served the Married 4 Life Walk since our very first event in 2017, and the McGregor family has been serving alongside the movement since 2018. Your commitment, consistency, and heart for this mission have helped impact countless couples and families over the years.

This year, we were especially honored to present Kennedy and Madison McGregor with our Volunteer Excellence Award in recognition of their years of faithful service and dedication to the movement.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Faith Chapel Volunteer Team, led by Charles & Tijuana J Everhart. Thank you for your years of support, your positive energy, your servant's heart, and your willingness to step in wherever needed. Your team helped create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for so many of our guests throughout the weekend.

To every volunteer who checked in couples, answered questions, moved supplies, greeted guests, solved problems, and served with a smile - thank you.

The truth is, events come and go, but it is people like you who help build a movement.
Your service, sacrifice, and commitment do not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for each of you.

On behalf of our Founders Martez Layton Dr. Woodrina Layton and our Marriage Ambassadors Ronnie DeVoe aka RBDJr Shamari DeVoe, and the M4LW Team our hearts are filled with gratitude as we reflect on the 8th Annual Married 4 Life Walk Weekend Celebration.

Thank you to every couple who attended, every volunteer who served, every church that supported, every sponsor who invested, and every member of the Married 4 Life Walk family who traveled to Birmingham and helped make this experience unforgettable.

A special thank you to our Birmingham City Host Couple, Mike & Ursula Kemp, our event partners Lavish Events and Rebirth Marketing, our volunteers, speakers, pastors, churches, and the many community partners who helped bring this experience to life.

Most importantly, thank you to every couple who laughed together, prayed together, walked together, held hands, renewed their commitment, and chose to continue building a legacy together.
