Let’s not forget. This event is happening tomorrow!

This seminar will be held on April 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Forest Park Gymnasium, located at 803 Forest Parkway. The purpose of this event is to connect returning citizens with valuable resources, employment opportunities, educational support, and community-based services that will assist them in rebuilding their lives and becoming productive members of our community.

Late post:
Pics from this month’s Community Meeting. FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) honored Pastor Micheal Clinkscales and Pastor Joesph Durham with awards acknowledging their faithful work with the youth that FCA are able to reach in the school system. And we had a few visitors from our court system. And our presenter was the City of Forest Parks’s new Mayor, Gwen Ellison. As always, a great meeting!

Yesterday we had the honor and the privilege of hearing from Judge Aaron Mason about the Clayton County Drug Court Programs that help rehabilitate those going into and coming out of the prison system! Yesterday was all about the Grace of a Second Chance and the importance of Love and being nonjudgmental. All while celebrating the Birthday of our President, Pastor Michael Clinkscales.

In recognition of February as American Heart Health Month, the Cardiovascular Health Program has partnered with Open Hands Atlanta to present a virtual cooking demonstration, Heart Health Matters: Understanding Heart Health and Nutrition.

This demonstration will highlight how a heart-healthy diet plays a vital role in preventing cardiovascular disease and supporting overall heart health.
