Georgia Youth Shooting Sports Foundation GYSSF provides funding, education, and leadership to foster lifetime interest in: conservation, competition, and hunting, thru all shooting sports.

GA Youth Shooting Sports Foundation Board of Directors strives to;
Support the mission of the Georgia Youth Shooting Sports Foundation,and I nstill responsibility, develop skills and improve existing talents and knowledge as well as encourage the involvement of youth and novice shooters. The GYSSF will utilize target shooting sports and archery as the catalyst for teaching life lessons and traits

that build character and citizenship values and to seek, secure and provide funding for all youth and novice athletes to participate in target shooting sports, and the continuation of the hunting tradition. GA Shooting Sports Steering Committees
Each sub-committee should strive to:
• Teach the safe and responsible handling and use of fi****ms and archery equipment.
• Provide a supportive environment, for teaching life lessons and skills that emphasize positive character traits and citizenship values.
• Introduce athletes to a sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime, one that offers a level playing field, and one that offers all family members an opportunity to play.
• Ensure the continuation of the hunting tradition.
• Instill responsibility, improve skills and knowledge and encourage the involvement in the shooting sports.
