I've had a lot of good days building this brand. This one's near the top.

You can spend a year making something and still not really believe people are out there using it — until one of them walks up to you under a bridge and tells you so.

When I started Oluremi, I thought the win would be the launch. The photos. The first sold-out product. And those things felt good, they did.

But nothing prepared me for the emails.

"This worked for me." "This helped my skin when nothing else did." "Thank you." Real people, taking time out of their day, to tell a stranger that something she made changed how they feel when they look in the mirror.

That's the proudest moment. Not a number. Not a launch. A message from someone I've never met.
