Atlanta Toulouse hosted a program on The Little Black Dress with our own fashion expert and author Nancy Flaherty as a guide. Nancy gave us the history starting with Chanel’s iconic creation 100 years ago and how the dress has changed over the decades by showing samples from her personal collection. While the designs may have changed, the black dress has never lost its allure.

Our ATSCC toured the Museum of Papermaking at Georgia Tech with our knowledgeable guide, Anna, who gave a thorough history of how papermaking came to be.
Afterwards, the group enjoyed lunch alfresco at Star Provisions.

Last night our French group celebrated La Chandeleur, also known as La Fête des Chandelles or Crêpe Day, Our hostess was Maia, who made us feel comfortable and welcome. Great event to get together with everyone.

ATSCC toured the SCAD FASH “Andre Leon Talley: Style is Forever” exhibition. Vogue editor and cultural icon, and SCAD supporter, Andre Leon Talley donated much of his personal collection to the museum.
Lunch followed at new Brasserie Lundi in Midtown.

Our French Group celebrated their “Fete Des Rois” (Three Kings Day) last night, hosted by Nolly and Shafik. It is normally celebrated in France on January 6th, with a special cake, called the Galette des Rois. Gail Goodwin found the hidden figurine in our cake and was declared our queen, wearing the crown! A great evening exchanging gifts and enjoying wonderful food.

Last night, our ATSCC group had its Holiday party at Suzanne and Dan's beautiful home. We had an abundance of food and drinks that the members brought to this event. The food was delicious, and it was great to get everyone together. Happy Holidays!!!!!
