Difficult times reveal true character. 2 Peter chapter 1 teaches about the Divine nature that comes at a cost. To your faith (received at salvation) add moral excellence, and to moral excellence increase in knowledge, and etc. How much of our bad “Christian” behavior will be excused? I would say none. Trials prove what is really there. It’s in the quiet time with the Lord , on our knees, that character is built. Then, we will stand faithful in the storm.

Why Two Different Days?
Yom HaShoah is deeply rooted in the Jewish calendar and Zionist history, linking the Holocaust (“Shoah”) to the subsequent rebirth of the State of Israel (“Tekuma”). IHRD was established by the UN in 2005 as a universally recognized day to commemorate the tragedy worldwide.

Today, approximately 196,000Holocaust survivors remain alive worldwide. Of these, roughly 31,000 live in the United States and about 111,000 live in Israel. These precious individuals — most now in their late 80s to over 100 — are the last living witnesses. Many face significant needs in their final years, and your continued prayers and support bring real comfort and blessing.

Let us stand together in prayer and support for the remaining survivors, for the State of Israel, and for the peace of Jerusalem. May we never forget, and may we commit ourselves to stand with Israel as it becomes increasingly unpopular (and eventually, if not already, dangerous).

"When Hamas talks about 'resistance' (Arabic: muqawama), it is referring to a comprehensive framework aimed at destroying Israel through a violent jihad (holy war), similar to the Islamic conquest of the Christian Byzantine Empire, or Turkey's 1974 invasion and conquest of northern Cyprus" (Gatestone Institute). Please understand, Iran hates America just as much as Israel because we represent resistance to the Islamic regime. There's much more to this war than most understand. It's about protecting our freedom and resisting the control of Islam that has its tenacles in our universities and government. God's word toward Elam, Iran (Persia), is like referring to Atlanta, GA. Notice the positive outcome — evil leadership overthrown and Godly leadership established, at least for a little while. Sadly, Iran is part of the Ezekiel 38 war, but Persia will be a lesser power (Jeremiah 49:34-39; Ezekiel 38:4-39:29). Pray for the protection of innocent people in Iran.
