Foundational Scripture: Romans 8:1–2

Description:
Life will “life.” Temptations, delays, disappointments, and everyday struggles can make it feel hard to walk in the purpose God has for us. In those moments, we often expect perfection from ourselves—and when we stumble, we’re quick to label it as failure. But Romans 8:1–2 reminds us there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. We may stumble, yet in Him, we do not fail.

This devotional invites you to extend to yourself the same grace God has already given you. Through the lens of a health journey—navigating delayed medication, renewed cravings, and imperfect choices—we see how patience with ourselves keeps us from giving up. Patience slows us down long enough to hear God’s instructions, to make obedient, faith-filled decisions instead of impulsive ones. As we choose discipline over defeat and alignment over condemnation, we experience more of God’s freedom, power, and promise at work in our daily lives.

In Christ, your missteps are not your end. You are learning, growing, and being led by the Spirit. You may stumble, but you will not fail.

Good morning, we are going to be live today

05/28/2026

This devotional invites readers to cling to praise when everything around them is falling apart. Drawing from Habakkuk 3:17–19, it begins where the prophet stands: in a season of absolute lack. The fig trees are bare, the vines produce no grapes, the fields yield no crops, the flocks are gone, and the barns are empty. In today’s terms, the paycheck is not stretching, hours are being cut, jobs are being lost, and many are working multiple side hustles—DoorDash runs on lunch breaks and late into the night—just to survive.

Yet, in the middle of this economic pressure and emotional exhaustion, Habakkuk makes a radical declaration: “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord.” This devotional calls believers to that same “yet.” It explores the difference between simply being a “good person” who feels forgotten in hard times, and being God’s person—one who chooses to worship in the dark, to call God “the Lord of my salvation” when the numbers don’t add up, and to trust His sovereignty when the system is unfair and corrupt.

“Prayer: Continue to Hope” will encourage readers to:

Acknowledge the reality of their struggle without denying their pain.
Choose worship over complaint, even when nothing seems to be working.
See God as their true source, not their job, hours, or side gigs.
Rest in the assurance that God will carry His people through corruption, inflation, and uncertainty.
Rooted in Habakkuk’s bold faith, this devotional is a call to say, “Yet I will praise You,” and to keep hoping in a living, sovereign God—no matter the destruction or distractions around us.

Prayer: Stop Being Angry
Devotional Description (based on Psalm 37:8–9)

“Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper— it only leads to harm. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.” (Psalm 37:8–9 NLT)

This devotional confronts the raw, honest anger many believers feel as they watch injustice, corruption, and evil go unpunished. From government corruption to criminals walking free, from abused victims ignored to the powerful protected, our hearts can boil with rage. If we’re not careful, that anger becomes a wedge the enemy uses to pull us away from God, poison our faith, and make us question God’s goodness and justice.

“Prayer: Stop Being Angry” is a call back to trust. Rooted in Psalm 37:8–9, it shows that God is not merely suggesting but commanding us: stop being angry, turn from your rage, and refuse to let your temper rule you—because it only leads to harm. The enemy cannot force you to leave God, but he will gladly use your anger, disappointment, and sense of injustice to tempt you to walk away on your own.

Through this devotional you will be:

Challenged to identify the issues, people, and injustices that still ignite your anger.
Reminded that God sees every injustice and will judge righteously in His time.
Encouraged to release your rage, hold firmly to your faith, and “continue to do good” as Psalm 37 commands.
Pointed back to the promise: those who trust in the Lord—not those who rage—will inherit what He has prepared.
Today, God is inviting you to lay down your anger, refuse the enemy’s trap, and keep walking the narrow path that leads to Christ, trusting His justice, His timing, and His unshakable promises.

I need an ultra-realistic picture of a black man. He's kind of slimly built. He's not too muscular, but he's not too thin either, but, you know, he's probably medium-sized. He's dressed in a jogging suit, like he's going to work out. He has a Bible in one hand and his gym bag in the other hand. And as he's walking, his back is towards us, and he's walking towards a building at the end of the street, and the building is the church. And on his way, there are people there. They have weapons. They have things that are gonna try to attack him with or things that they're gonna try to make him stumble. But I know we're looking at the back of him, but somehow allow him to look confident, and as he walks towards that, let him not be fearful, but also have things on the way there that will prevent the people from attacking him. There will be things on the side of the road that the guy can use to prevent the people from attacking him. And in the center of the picture, on the top, have the title, which is Prayer: Fear Not, in electrified blue. And can you make it HD, 1920x1080?

Based on Matthew 7:24–27

When the storms of life hit—missed medications, health battles, cravings, disappointments, delays—what are you standing on? In Matthew 7, Jesus teaches that those who hear His words and put them into practice are like a wise builder who sets their house on solid rock. The rain pours, the rivers rise, the winds beat against that house, yet it does not fall—because its foundation is firm.

This devotional, Prayer: Center Yourself, invites you to examine what your life is truly built on. Tools like medicine, programs, and plans can be helpful, but they are not your foundation. When those tools fail or are taken away, you still have full access to the God who sustains, strengthens, and provides.

Through the lens of a weight loss journey interrupted by a pharmacy delay, you’ll be encouraged to:

Recognize the “storms” that expose what you’re really trusting in
Stand on the unshakable Word of God when your body, emotions, or circumstances scream otherwise
Remember that obedience to Christ’s teachings is your true security, not the tools you use
Cultivate a direct, personal relationship with Jesus—beyond pastors, churches, or spiritual leaders
As you center your prayer, you center yourself—on Christ the Bedrock. In Him, you can withstand every storm and remain standing, not because it’s easy, but because your life is rooted in the unmovable Word of God.

Prayer Devotional Title: “Prayer: Your Hope Is Granted”
Foundational Scripture: Proverbs 10:24 – “The fears of the wicked will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted.”

Description:

“Prayer: Your Hope Is Granted” is a devotional designed to remind believers that when God says “yes,” nothing and no one can cancel what He has purposed—except our own decision to stop believing and stop moving forward.

Proverbs 10:24 draws a sharp contrast: the wicked scheme and plot to get what they want, and their fears are fulfilled. But the godly place their confidence in God, and their hopes are granted. Fulfilled speaks of human plotting and manipulation; granted speaks of divine approval—God’s sovereign “yes.”

This devotional calls you to examine the hopes you’ve prayed over, the goals you’ve set before God, and the dreams you once believed He had affirmed. Many of those hopes have not failed; they’ve only been paused by your own discouragement, weariness, or misunderstanding of the process. The delays, struggles, and pressures you face are not proof that God has denied your request—they are often the very tools He is using to prepare you for what you asked Him for.

Through this study and time of prayer you will be encouraged to:

Recognize the difference between human schemes and God-given hope
Trust that when God has granted your hope, it will come to pass in His time
See your current struggles as preparation, not disqualification
Refuse to deviate, give up, or disqualify yourself through doubt and inaction
Stay focused on God’s divine purpose rather than on temporary setbacks
This devotional is a call to get back up, to move forward again, and to align your actions with what God has already said “yes” to. Your hope has been granted—now walk, pray, and persevere like you believe it.

Rooted in Isaiah 49:13–15 (NLT), this devotional invites us to be honest about the quiet places of our hearts. God declares that He has comforted His people (past), will have compassion on them in their suffering (future), and yet His people still cry out in the present, “The Lord has deserted us; the Lord has forgotten us.”

This tension is where many of us live. We faithfully show up, serve, smile, and testify of God’s goodness, but rarely pause to take stock of how we are truly doing—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. In the secret place, we may feel abandoned, overlooked, or forgotten.

This devotional creates space to bring those hidden feelings honestly before God. When we dare to say, “Lord, it feels like You’ve forgotten me,” He does not rebuke us—He reassures us. Like a loving mother who cannot forget her nursing child, God says, “Never. Even if a mother could forget, I will not forget you.”

As you journey through this devotional, you are invited to drop the performance, sit with your true feelings, and let God’s unwavering love meet you there. In that vulnerable exchange, your armor is strengthened, your hope is renewed, and your heart is reminded: you are seen, you are loved, and you are not forgotten.

The Benefits of Fear” is a devotional rooted in Proverbs 1:7: “The fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.”

In an age when our nations are often led by those who reject wisdom, resist discipline, and pursue corrupt schemes, God’s Word gives us a different path. We are able to recognize foolish leadership precisely because it despises the very things God values: wisdom, righteousness, and correction. Yet even in a time like this, the people of God are not hopeless or helpless.

This devotional explores how a holy fear of the Lord—reverence, awe, and deep respect for who He is—becomes our foundation for real understanding, real freedom, and real life. When we fear God more than we fear people:

We are no longer controlled by the threats, pressures, or manipulations of man.
The sins and compromises that once held us back lose their power.
We are freed to live the life God intends for us, not the life the world tries to force on us.
God’s desire is that we live our best life in Him—a life marked by wisdom, peace, courage, and holiness. Sin wants to steal that life. This devotional calls us back to a simple truth: if we want to keep hold of God’s best, we must fear Him above all else.
