McCord’s lifelong mission of empowering education, and maximizing scholastic potential among youth of diverse backgrounds. McCord Foundation strives to provide youth access to quality education, in addition to required support in preparation for excellence in colle

giate studies and beyond. McCord Foundation was created to magnify the exquisite legacy that Courtney left behind. Courtney lived her life with class, dignity, and respect. Courtney’s passion to inspire, and instill in youth of all ages the importance of hard work and higher education to reach their full potential, and achieve dreams, is deserving of prolongation. The Courtney E, McCord Foundation is officially recognized a public charity with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. We accept and appreciate donations in support of our efforts to provide educational support to high school and college students. With the continued help of donors, who share our passion, our goal is to make an impactful difference in the lives of those who otherwise would have limited options to quality education.

The Courtney E. McCord Foundation strives to provide youth access to quality education, in addition to required support in preparation for excellence in collegiate studies and beyond. The Courtney E. McCord Foundation Virtual Walk/Run 5K is a fundraiser designed for supporters to run/walk in an effort to allow the foundation to fully and properly execute its mission. If you prefer not to run or walk, but still would like to support the Courtney E. McCord Foundation, please donate by clicking the "DONTATE" tab on the registration page and enter the amount of your choice! No donation is too small! 100% of the proceeds generated from this race will aid the foundation in executing its very first mission to provide ACT preparation courses to numerous high school students.
