With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved friend Rashawn “Tank” Wilson.
Tank was a pillar in the Cobb sports community — if you have been to any of our events in the last few years Tank was always there selling USBA, US Amateur, National Hoops Series (AAU) tshirts/hoodies and other basketball related merchandise.
He was a loving soul who poured everything he had into his children and his work.
Tank was a man whose passion for sports, dedication to sports culture, and commitment to uplifting young players left a lasting mark on everyone who crossed his path.
His presence was powerful, his spirit genuine, and his love for mentoring the youth was undeniable. He believed in the next generation and worked tirelessly to help create opportunities for young men to grow and succeed.
Whether if it was on the court, on the field, supporting our events, mentoring youth athletes, or just building relationships across the sports world, Tank carried himself with pride and authenticity.
Today, we mourn not only a member of our sports community, but Tank was our neighbor, true friend and brother. My dude was funny as can be, creative AF & one hell of a grillman! He was only 36 years old but had the soul of an OG! I can’t even explain how much he will be missed.
Our deepest prayers and condolences go out to his entire family, loved ones, and the entire Cobb sports community during this difficult time.

His family is dealing with a lot of adversity right now…. They were displaced from their home in January due to a direct lightning strike during a major storm and now they are having to make final arrangements to lay Tank to rest.. He was a father to 4 beautiful children, all under the age of 12 years old.
