Update: Several people went to the house today to do repairs and we are back in it! Thank the Lord! Thank you for praying!

When teams visit us in Colombia, I always start the orientation with the number one rule of missions “Be flexible.” Well, we are living that flexible life this week. After the storm, our AirBnB started flooding… from the toilet and the bathtub. Eww. The hosts gave us another place to stay for the night, which turned out to be a really cute place, but about a half an hour away from where we need to be. This morning a maintenance person is heading to the house to try to resolve the problem. Here’s the catch, we need this to be fixed because with all the people coming into town, there are not alternative places available to stay at a reasonable price. Would you pray with us today that they are able to fix the issue and we can stay the next three weeks in this house?

We’ll be in Springfield, Missouri for the next three weeks helping prepare new global workers to go to the field and go through our own training. Our first day was a little crazy! Tona led a workshop, we met a new couple who will be heading to Medellín and we got a backstage view of an Academy spots store as we waited out a tornado warning with our friends. Today Corey was part of a panel on partnership. There’s a lot more to come over the next few weeks!

First half marathon in the books! Publix Atlanta Marathon 20th anniversary was crazy hilly. The last quarter was rough and my right leg cramped bad, but I learned a lot and can only get better! I’m super grateful for Corey and run club friends who came to cheer. It was a great experience!
