The GAWL Foundation encourages the philanthropic involvement of women lawyers to provide help and assistance to those in need, provide scholarships to female law students in Georgia, and provide grants to other Georgia 501(c)(3) organizations. A broad variety of artists are featured during the live auction, and various pieces of art, jewelry, pottery, vacation homes, sports tickets, gift cards and more can be bid on during the silent auction. All profits are used to help fund the scholarships given to Georgia law students at that year's Annual Dinner. GAWL Foundation strives to provide opportunities for women lawyers in Georgia to participate in community service & pro bono projects, provide grants to other 501(c)(3) organizations that fit within our mission, and provide scholarships to women law students who have demonstrated an interest in serving the community through practicing public interest law.
