City of South Fulton City Manager Odie Donald II Named President of the Metro Atlanta Chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators
(CITY OF SOUTH FULTON, GEORGIA, January 23, 2019) – On January 22, 2019, the National Forum for Black Public Administrators – Metro Atlanta Chapter (NFBPA) announced that City Manager for the City of South Fulton, Odie Donald II was announced as President of the organization for the 2019-2021 term. “It is an honor to be chosen as a President for the Metro Atlanta Chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators, a nationally renowned and prestigious organization,” said President Odie Donald II. “Helping shape, educate and inform the current and future leaders of
the Metro Atlanta region is a passion of mine, and this appointment will help me further the discussion and advancement of African-Americans in public administration.”
Along with being named President of NFBPA-Metro Atlanta Chapter, Donald has been recognized as a 40-under-40 honoree by Georgia Trend Magazine, Young Government Leaders and Georgia State University. Additionally, Donald has served on the Boards of organizations such as the National Association of State Administrators (NASWA), the Workforce Development Council’s Board of Trustees for the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
