This post isn’t virtue signaling. It’s value signaling.
Today we honor the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., not just for what he said, but for what he practiced. Dr. King understood that justice without reconciliation leaves wounds open, and that forgiveness isn’t weakness, it’s courage.
He knew forgiveness doesn’t excuse injustice; it removes the poison that keeps injustice in control. It’s how dignity is restored, self-worth rebuilt, and lasting change becomes possible.
This truth sits at the heart of our mission at 70x7 Path to Forgiveness. We see every day that forgiveness isn’t about the other person, it’s about freeing the one who was hurt.
So here’s the question:
In a world that keeps rewarding outrage, what would it look like if we had the courage to choose reconciliation instead?
