How can you grow spiritually when you are stuck in unforgiveness? How can we deepens our faith when we carry the root of bitterness? Could our capacity to forgive be a spiritual ceiling?

What would you tell someone who believes the lie “I’m not good enough.” We all think it. Take a moment to remind someone of their worth.

When fear, sadness, or unmet needs arise, they often manifest as anger. This primitive emotion can clear a room, but it's ultimately backed by fear, judgment, unmet expectations, and blame. Understanding this is key.

Are you waiting on an apology before you forgive someone? If so you’ve handed them to keys to your freedom. “I’m sorry” won’t fix what they did. Forgiveness is a gift for you not for them!

I know anger. I know pain. I know what it means to carry something so heavy you can't see a way out.

There is a way out. It starts with one decision.

Were you taught how to forgive? Or were you taught to carry resentment and bitterness with you? Most of us were never modeled forgiveness, because it is one of the most difficult and misunderstood things a person can do. So we carry the weight of what happened to us for years. Sometimes a lifetime. Sometimes across generations. You don't have to keep carrying it. Check the link in bio for a unique Path to Forgiveness and take the first step toward your healing journey.

This post isn’t virtue signaling. It’s value signaling.

Today we honor the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., not just for what he said, but for what he practiced. Dr. King understood that justice without reconciliation leaves wounds open, and that forgiveness isn’t weakness, it’s courage.

He knew forgiveness doesn’t excuse injustice; it removes the poison that keeps injustice in control. It’s how dignity is restored, self-worth rebuilt, and lasting change becomes possible.

This truth sits at the heart of our mission at 70x7 Path to Forgiveness. We see every day that forgiveness isn’t about the other person, it’s about freeing the one who was hurt.

So here’s the question:

In a world that keeps rewarding outrage, what would it look like if we had the courage to choose reconciliation instead?

Merry Christmas to all from Mark, Laura and Wilma.
