We are leaving Memphis and heading to Clarksdale, Mississippi. Bubba will be meeting us at the town hall when we all get there. It was way more than we expected. He had homemade bread for us made by all the locals, cheese straws, and fresh-brewed coffee. We all got situated, and then he started telling us about the history of Clarksdale. I can’t wait to see all the things he’s talked about. The history in Clarkdale is rich, our first stop when we got out of the van. were cat heads. Terry, the harmonica player, greeted us with some music as he was sitting on the front porch in a chair. Rogers Stoll, who owns Cathead, is from Dayton, Ohio. We sat and listened to the music, went inside the store, and saw the items for souvenirs. We’re all headed back in the van to finish the rest of our tour around Clarksdale, Mississippi. There is so much I could say, but this post would become a book. I finally was taken to the crossroads, which I have heard so much about in the land of Blues history. We had lunch at Stone Pony Pizza, which was delicious! It’s time to find our hotel, check in, and prepare for more fun tonight.
