The O.M.A.R.E Center, II Inc.
The O.M.A.R.E. Health, Wellness & Resource Center, II Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 community service organization, founded to improve the quality of life and enhance health awareness, by providing an array of programs, activities and workshops for various communities. OMARE (o.m.a.r.e ) stands for Outreach, Mentoring, Advocacy, Research and Education and is derived from the root name OMAR, which means first born.
The need for the O.M.A.R.E. Center, II Inc. became most prevalent in 2008, with a focus on people living in underserved, underrepresented, and economically disadvantaged communities, who were not made aware of and were not utilizing many of their community resources. In responding to this call to action, the O.M.A.R.E Center, II Inc. was created. Since then, the O.M.A.R.E Center, II Inc. has been accomplishing its mission and goals, by conducting outreach, providing mentor programs, advising community members, researching issues to identify conclusions and heightening health awareness through education.
The O.M.A.R.E. Center, II Inc. staffs committed devotion, dedicated spirit and tireless effort to make a difference for individuals living in vulnerable, at risk and other communities is what has made the O.M.A.R.E. Center, II Inc. a community staple and great leader over the past 10 years. The staff members are extremely motivated and passionate about advising and educating communities on prevailing issues especially those plaguing children, youth and young adults. In light of continuous alarming health statistics, racial, geographical & economic disparities and call to action agendas, the O.M.A.R.E Health, Wellness and Resource Center, II Inc. will remain a great community asset, providing continuous mentorship, health promotion, support for community initiatives and promoting heightened health resource and service awareness in the communities it serves!!!
