Every mother deserves to give birth with dignity. 🤰
Mackline knows this better than most. Through Vital Care Connect, she is putting hygienic birthing kits, sterile gloves, cord ties, diapers, wipes, and more into the hands of mothers in rural Uganda who would otherwise go without.

In January, we planted trees near schools, homes, and gardens in Kamuli, Uganda, in line with our Buy A Tree, Build A Future Tree Campaign, which we ran in December 2025.

Each one is rooted in care, planted and nurtured by local changemakers. This is only the beginning. We’re on a journey to grow 1 million trees alongside changemaker communities across East Africa in 2026.

January was dedicated to thoughtful roadmapping, bringing together changemakers who share a common vision, even if their journeys look different. We began the year on a powerful note with our founder, Dr. Danika Tynes,joining us in Uganda, leading us through a grounding, mindful session that flowed seamlessly into collective planning and strategy.

Working with changemakers to bring their visions of thriving communities to life begins with imagining what the future holds, not only for their communities but for their personal lives as well. To anchor that vision, we wrote our stories for 2026, using them as a compass to guide our work ahead.

While we plan to reconnect quarterly, our focus begins with action. We are already putting our vision into motion and building impact rooted in community.
