Today we highlight Chapter Members who have made an amazing Impact on our Community through Leadership and Service through Creative Thinking.
Women who operate in Creative Thinking generate fresh ideas and approaches to problems, often breaking away from traditional methods.
Torri Jones is a great example of how to use creative thinking to engage others. A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, Torri is heavily involved in all things that make her community better. You will often find her engaged in Political Forums and opportunities to bring awareness to the issues that affect our community.
Torri holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Morris Brown College and a Master of Public Administration from the University of West Georgia. She currently works as a Contract Specialist at Robins AFB. She firmly believes in the endless potential for improvement, a conviction that drives her to think creatively in hopes of making a positive impact and inspiring change.
Within the community, she strives to encourage the ideas and contributions of others. She has worked with numerous local campaigns and was instrumental in organizing an informational forum for some of our local candidates. She was also the Connections Committee Chairman of the Warner Robins Chapter of Alpha Kappa Sorority, Incorporated, where she led several Voter Registration Drives.
Torri tells us,
“Together, I believe we can achieve exceptional things. As a leader, I promote inclusive participation and reject any form of exclusion…My mind is continually engaged, always seeking ways to generate additional income, create safe environments that empower myself and others, and elevate ideas and activities to new heights."
She is the mother to a beautiful daughter, Dakota Aubree Jones.
