St Michael’s Paratroopers, Members, and Supporters,

The June Chapter Meeting will be on June 6th at 1000 hours at the covered picnic area of Winkler Park in Hickory, which is part of the LP Frans Stadium Complex. The address is 2500 Clement Blvd, NW, Hickory, NC. To get to the Winkler Park picnic area, take the second entrance to LP Frans and veer to the left of the stadium. There is parking by the picnic area, which is also where the park restrooms are located.

This will be our normal Chapter meeting, but as it’s one week out from the St Michael’s PTSD Awareness Motorcycle Benefit Ride, the main focus will be on the plan for the ride itself.

We would ask all Ride Volunteers and those Chapter members planning to participate in the ride to attend for an orientation of the setup, logistics, ride itinerary, etc. We will also give an overview of volunteer assignments, locations, and responsibilities.

We may also use help at this meeting putting the “goodie bags” together for the ride (dog tags, t-shirts, vendor handouts, etc) that each rider will receive the day of the race.

We’ll decide about lunch as we get closer to the date.

Hope to see all members and spouses/significant others there!

AATW!

Some of our brothers and sisters made it home… but the war didn’t.

PTSD is still taking its toll—and they shouldn’t have to fight it alone.
