“The Path Of Life” - Proverbs 3:6 KJV by Kenneth Petersen

We sometimes feel overwhelmed by our circumstances. We experience setbacks. We find ourselves at a loss for where we should go. But Proverbs encourages us, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (v.5). This is the Bible’s way of saying, “Let go and let God” lead your life.

God has a way of making the best out of bad situations. Whatever you’re facing today, the key is to “acknowledge Him” and listen for His voice. Watch Him open up the paths of your life.

What circumstances are troubling you? How can you seek God’s direction for your life?

Faith without works is dead. Sometimes the only way you can work your faith is by stepping aside and getting out of God’s way.

“How To Equip Others” - Author Unknown
Evaluate, Qualify, Unite, Invest, Provide

When a pastor commits to EQUIP, the spirit of the church will be upbeat, positive, and faith building.

Read and study 2 Corinthians, chapter five and Ephesians 5. I recommend the NLT version.

God gave at least five types of leaders to the church: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. They exist to complete the members’ growth and to equip them to serve (Ephesians 4:12-16). Their roles vary:

Apostle: One sent forth to pioneer and establish new works and new leaders

Prophet: One who speaks forth God’s Word to inspire, correct, and motivate

Evangelist: One who shares Christ with outsiders and trains others to do so

Pastor: One who shepherds, guides, and guards God’s people as they serve

Teacher: One who trains God’s people in the truth and teaches others to do so

When the church fills these five offices, ordinary people get equipped for ministry.
