Thank you for making our 4th Annual Sip & Share such a memorable evening! 🥂

It was wonderful to gather in Atlanta with so many journalists, communicators, freelancers, and media professionals. Seeing both familiar faces and so many new ones reminded us what makes the SPJ Georgia community so special.

A huge thank you to Ohio River South for partnering with us and hosting this year's event in such a stunning venue. We're also incredibly grateful to Allison Entrekin, editor-in-chief of Atlanta Magazine for serving as our fantastic emcee and helping make the evening so enjoyable.

To our raffle prize sponsors—thank you for your extraordinary generosity and for helping us create an unforgettable experience with an incredible lineup of prizes.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, donated, volunteered, and continues to support SPJ Georgia. Your enthusiasm and commitment help strengthen our journalism community, and we can't wait to see you again next year! đź’™

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for a virtual train-the-trainer workshop introducing , our statewide media education campaign. We were thrilled to have Society of Professional Journalists members from all across Georgia and the country attend the workshop!

The program brings practical media knowledge into local communities, helping audiences better understand what journalism is and what journalists do, evaluate information critically and distinguish fact from fake.

Thank you to our incoming Vice President Joshua Wilson for presenting the program, which was made possible by a grant from the Society of Professional Journalists Foundation. It equips journalists and journalism educators with practical tools, talking points and exercises to engage community groups, including churches, HOAs, high schools and local government agencies.
