The Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program is a US Department of the Treasury program that provides funding to help households pay rent and utilities. The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 authorized ERA2, which provided $21.55 billion in additional funding to the program. The ERA program is intended to help struggling renters keep up with housing expenses.

ERA1 provided $25 billion under the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, and ERA2 provided $21.55 billion under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021
Distribution
Funds are provided to states, US territories, certain local governments, and Indian Tribes
Assistance
Funds can be used to pay rent, utilities, and other housing-related expenses
Grantees
Grantees use the funds to provide assistance to eligible households through existing or new rental assistance programs
Guidance
Treasury guidance encourages flexible program design to help vulnerable populations
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) hosts an interagency housing portal with information about the ERA program, including what it covers, how it works, and who's eligible.

Many programs have exhausted or are close to exhausting their ERA2 funds and have closed their application portals.

Consumer Tip:
Be cautious when you rent vehicles to use to drive for a rideshare company there has been many instances reported to me where the drivers are not being paid enough to even cover the cost of the rental car some of them are driving just to pay for the rental car and don't have any money left over.

Basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jeffrey Jordan is making a record-setting $10 million donation to Make-A-Wish America in honor of his upcoming 60th birthday, the organization has announced. The gift is the largest given by an individual in the foundation's 43-year history.

Jordan, who turns 60 on Friday, hopes his donation will inspire others to support Make-A-Wish.

People never see the struggle of a president or a CEO all they see is the glory and they desire to steal the glory without going through the fire.
What about all of the late nights that we stayed up building these businesses and these corporations what about all the sacrifices that our families had to make by having us working in and out of town working all days all night not being able to talk to them see them or communicate with them what about all the work that we put in because before you can get to be a president or a CEO you have to first start at the bottom of the pyramid not as a manager but as an employee first. so when you work your way all the way up from being an employee to being a president then maybe you will understand the pain and the sacrifice that it took to get in the position where the presidents are and yes there are wickedness in high places but you have the ability with your words to speak the truth and be delivered from any kind of oppression or bo***ge. You can't have my glory and you can't tell my story better than me.
