Did you know? Clean parks and waterways help support diverse wildlife and healthy ecosystems! When trash or pet waste is left behind, rainwater can carry it through storm drains directly into our lakes and ponds polluting the water and harming the animals that depend on it.

Remember, even natural snacks like fruit or bread can harm wildlife and disrupt the balance of our ecosystems.

We can all play a part in keeping our parks and beautiful!

40 pints for 40 years!

Gwinnett Parks and Recreation is turning 40, and we're celebrating with a Red Cross Blood Drive! Join us at the Bethesda Park Senior Center on Saturday, June 13 from 9:00am to 2:00pm and help us reach our goal of 40 pints of donated blood to commemorate our 40 years of service to the community.

Whether you're a first-time donor or a seasoned lifesaver, your donation can help make a life-saving difference for someone in need.

And because every birthday party needs favors, all donors will receive free juice, cookies, plus a free pool admission for a future visit! Learn how to schedule your appointment at Bit.ly/RedCrossBloodDriveBP.
