In light of recent media coverage, we want to reaffirm FIDF’s unwavering commitment to our supporters—and to the 340,000 IDF soldiers, veterans, and their families who rely on us.
FIDF's Role:
We fund direct requests from The Association for Israel’s Soldiers (AFIS) on behalf of the IDF and the Ministry of Defense (MOD) for soldier well-being, education, and veteran support. By U.S. and Israeli law, FIDF cannot fund military equipment or operations.
Emergency Support Since October 7:
FIDF has committed $250 million in Emergency Campaign funds—100% of which go to Israel with no overhead. To date, $216 million has been raised. Our commitments include:
$39M for the IDF’s first Mental Health & Resilience Center
$24M for mental health programs with Sheba Medical Center
$23M for the Soldier Recharge program (respite + PTSD screening)
$20M for therapy clinics for veterans and families
$16M for bereaved family and wounded soldier support programs
$125M has been transferred to date
$75M to be transferred in 2025–2026
Remaining $50M to be transferred over the next five years, aligned with project milestones
2025 Commitments: Highest in FIDF History
In 2025, FIDF has committed $76M to core programs (Education, Well-being, Financial Relief, Lone Soldiers), and $131M total including Emergency Well-being—our highest annual commitment ever.
Financial Transparency:
FIDF holds the highest 4-star Charity Navigator rating for 11 consecutive years (top 2% of U.S. charities), is a Charity Watch Top-Rated charity, and earned Candid’s 2025 Platinum Transparency Seal (top 0.1%). All finances are audited annually in the U.S. and Israel.
Thank you for standing with us—and with every IDF soldier fighting for democracy, for good, and for humanity.
