About the Founder
Dominic Turner is a Morehouse College graduate with a BA in Sociology and Criminal Justice, obtained in 2003. He has 15 years of IT software and managed services sales experience, working in complex corporate environments. Additionally, he is a married father of two children, an avid gardener, a fisherman, and a Formula One car racing enthusiast. He believes in being a change age

nt and encourages people to fix problems themselves instead of waiting for someone else to solve them. This belief led Dominic to form the Turner Foundation for Community Advocacy, which uses his background and skills in a unique way to improve the lives of underserved communities.

What an incredible opportunity! 👏🏾

Our team had the privilege of watching some of our YCAM Mentorship students present everything they learned during their summer internship with the Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATL DOT).

Seeing their confidence, professionalism, and growth on full display was a powerful reminder of what's possible when young people are equipped with opportunity, mentorship, and real-world experience. We couldn't be more proud of each of them and all they've accomplished this summer.

When STEM Meets Community Advocacy 💡🏙️

What started as a science fair project turned into an incredible opportunity for 4 of our Youth Advocates! After competing against 600+ high school students with projects focused on pedestrian crosswalk safety and the environment, they presented their ideas to city leaders and DOT commissioners—earning internships with the Department of Transportation's Engineering Department.

Yesterday was an amazing sight as we sent some of our Youth Advocates off to the SCAD-Savannah College of Art and Design College Experience! 🎉

Over the next week, they'll get a firsthand look at college life by staying on campus, exploring creative degree programs, participating in hands-on workshops, connecting with professors and current students, and building skills in art, design, film, fashion, animation, and more. Most importantly, they'll be expanding their vision for what's possible in their future.

We're so proud of them and can't wait to see all they learn and accomplish! 💙✨
