There’s a quiet electricity that happens when faith, history, and the blues meet in a sacred space. We had the soul-stirring pleasure of joining the Fellowship of Christian women at the Historic West Hunter Street Baptist Church for an incredible Chat 'n Chew poetry writing class led by Dr. Cedrick Von Jackson: a beautiful afternoon of social and spiritual connection.

We spent the afternoon immersed in 'Theoethnimusicology, Vol. 1 - Nothin' But Da Blues,' diving into the technical craft of sonnets, stanzas, and haiku. It was more than just a lesson; it was a rhythmic homecoming for the spirit.
