For all of our LinkedIn followers, today over 300 families homes will be sold off leaving more families desperately searching for a place to live.
Let me introduce myself. I am Cody Oakes, owner of www.BuyTheDoor.org, a 501(c)(3) non profit seeking to help those in need with a mortgage that has become a financial burden. My company and “Stop Foreclosure Solutions”, a for-profit venture have been working around the clock to help people that have been affected by Covid, job loss, probate, and other circumstances that have lead this country into inflation with the gloom of recession seemingly around the corner.
Our companies combined have paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars to help keep hard-working families in there homes. We have assisted these families by placing them in our redirection programs, by giving loans, working with attorneys, purchasing homes directly, and relocating them into affordable housing, etc… The biggest issue that comfronts us is that the homeowners state that they are working, around the clock, with the mortgage companies by filling out the paperwork to get their existing loans remodified. As the clock tics down, that wishful thinking is lost today.
Matter of fact, I have personally received four phone calls from individuals stating that their mortgage company failed to come through and are requesting if there’s anything our companies, Buy The Door, Inc, and Stop Foreclosure Solutions, can do. In most cases, we can stop foreclosures. Under most circumstances, our companies would be available, at the courthouse, on the day of the foreclosure
auction. There are only a small percentage of foreclosures we can’t stop due to the lack of time and/or guidelines that are set by the mortgage companies themselves.
