Hidden Gems Bible Study Series
“It is the glory of God to conceal matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter”
-Proverbs 25:2
God loves us so much that He wants us to know Him as intimately as He knows us. As such, He does not seek to hide information from us, but chooses to put knowledge of Himself deeper so we have to be intentional enough to learn about Him. If we are to receive the crown He has for us and be joint heirs to His kingdom, it is our duty to know Him and His Word on a deeper level.
Not just the popular parts. The entire Word.
Throughout Scripture are countless people whose story is not celebrated. Some of whom, the casual Christian may have never heard of.
And that’s the point.
We’re called to be more than casual Christians. Therefore, it’s not enough for us to only know the kings, the apostles, and the prophets. Every name in the Bible tells a story. Every person that God so meticulously and intentionally included in His Word bears a lesson about how we must walk as Christians. It is our duty to know it.
The “Hidden Gems” series will unearth some of the most important, yet least celebrated lives mentioned in the Holy Bible. These deep dives are intended to enrich our understanding of the God we serve, and how He will call, utilize, and empower even the least likely of us for the good of His kingdom!
Knowledge of God is a crown to those who seek Him.
What hidden gems are in your crown?
