The Douglas County Rotary Club continues to invest in the future of our community through meaningful partnerships and opportunities for our youth.

At last Monday’s meeting, under the leadership of our new local president, Tim Prewett, we were honored to hear from Carol Gray Walker a representative of Laws of Life program. Our club has been awarded a grant that will allow middle and high school students across our community to participate in the annual Laws of Life essay scholarship program.

This initiative goes beyond writing—it encourages students to reflect on their values, develop leadership skills, and envision their future. Programs like this play a vital role in supporting academic growth while empowering young people to become thoughtful, engaged leaders.

We are proud to support opportunities that strengthen both our students and our community.
