Today on its 25th Anniversary, we honor the brave first responders who showed unimaginable courage on September 11, 2001. Their selflessness, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication in the face of tragedy will never be forgotten. We remember and thank the heroes who rushed toward danger to save others, embodying the true spirit of service. Let us continue to honor their legacy by standing united and supporting those who put others first.

We had a great time at the very successful National Night Out in Austell on last weekTuesday night. Congratulations to Austell Police Department for putting on such a big night!
We were also happy to visit with our Powder Springs Police Department friends and meet K9 Rocky who also enjoys snuggling up in his very own GCB blanket!

We had such a warm welcome today at the Atlanta Police Department Department! GCB was invited to be a part of the Leaps Training program today lead by Tim Rutledge. It was a pleasure to meet him and we truly appreciate him for including us! Thank you to Major Sturdivant with Atlanta PD for inviting us back and to partner with GCB by placing blankets in their patrol cars. It was heartwarming to see the memorial trees planted in honor of all the officers lost to su***de. Special thank you to our friend Major Burgamy at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for the continued support. The day was made complete by the opportunity to tour the APD stables and meet the mounted unit.

Last Wednesday, GCB was invited along with some local and state peer support members to tour Thoroughbred Wellness and Recovery ! We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Joshua Brumfeld and Graham Skinner, not only for their support of GCB but for always supporting our first responders!

Happy Fourth of July from the GCB family to yours! On this 250th anniversary of America, we would like to thank our first responders for working on this holiday to keep all of us safe. We are so lucky to live in this country of freedom and liberty. Wishing y’all an enjoyable day of celebrating!

It’s that time again! Come out and join the Citadels MC and Gotcha Covered Blankets for the 5th Annual Ride for the Fallen. This year we will be doing a poker run just to change things up slightly from previous years.

$20 per rider / $10 per passenger
Start Location: Atlanta Harley Davidson
End Location: Southern Devil Harley Davidson
Registration 9:30 - 11:00AM
KSU: 11:30AM
Last bike in: 3:30PM

We will have three stops which will have food and beverages and the ride will be at your own pace.

As in years past all proceeds will be donated to Gotcha Covered Blankets which helps place blankets into law enforcement vehicles to use however officers desire within the community.

We encourage everyone to come whether on a bike or in a vehicle.

It’s been just a week since we made it home from Washington D.C. after attending the National Memorial Service during where Mitchell was recognized for his service. Being shown nothing short of honor, I’m still so proud of Mitchell and amazed at the respect shown to the families of fallen officers.

We are so grateful to the FOP and to COPS- a special shout out to the GA chapter of COPS for the love and support! We have definitely added more special friends into our lives.

Thank you to our friends for making the trip and for your love and support. Captain Michael (retired, Cobb County) Major Burgamy (Washington County Sheriff’s Dept) Lt. Clifton (Dunwoody Police Dept) and Margaret Younis from Chicago (Hybrid Academy).

And thank you to our friend Jonnie Moeller-Reed for the support shown to our family in addition to the Campisi family.

Mitchell was honored this last Thursday night at the Marietta Square and we are so thankful to have so many friends join us in a beautiful time of remembrance. We’d like to thank the Kermit C. Sanders Lodge #13 Fraternal Order of Police for organizing this event and celebrating our officers.
