This week as we kicked off our Being The CEO of ME Bronco Camp with Fayette Public Schools at Bennett’s Mill Middle School, we have a very special person to celebrate!

Help us wish Mrs. Melanie Holt a very Happy Birthday!!! 🎉🥳🎂

Mrs. Holt is honoring us by serving as our Being The CEO of ME Bronco Camp School Site Coordinator this summer! ❤️

But she pours into students and their families all year long as the Parent Engagement Specialist at Bennett’s Mill Middle School?! 🙌🏾

Melanie pours into her community as Executive Director for Project XL Readiness Program and is an outstanding partner in Fayette County🙌🏾

We absolutely ❤️ each of our amazing emerging CEOs in our youth entrepreneurship program!

Tonight students learned about Henry Ford, standards in business operations, and used our brains to create a flow chart of ideas for our product!

We were amazed how thorough Xiomara was with her T-shirt and clothing line idea tonight and were so excited to get these photos from her tonight while she worked out her plan! Way to go Xiomara!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Tonight’s class was amazing! We met a real kid CEO Faith Brown , challenged our brain with some fun project-based activities where we explored how to create a mission, inspire people with a vision statement, broke out in a dance party and discussed what we think makes a business, well… a business! 😆

This year is our year of ACCESS, EQUITY IN ED & EXPANSION thanks to a six-figure annual 3-year renewable grant from the BOOST Grant from G-SAN in partnership with GaDOE made possible by the American Rescue Plan, our signature program is creating opportunities for students to get in the driver-seat of their academic, civic, and financial learning all year-round through Afterschool Enrichment Clubs, our Weekend Community Learning Labs, AND our Youth Leadership Academy Summer Camp!!

Where do we start with this next coach?!

Let’s begin with a 🥁drum roll because you’ll always know when Coach Doug is in the building! 😆

Always the one to bring the fun while inviting students to think and explore in innovative ways!

👨🏽‍💻🎶Meet Coach Doug!

Here’s some fun facts about him:

Georgia native, Doug is an accomplished musician, doting instructor, community leader, and avid lover and supporter of the arts.

For many years, he worked in the Atlanta music scene writing and producing with many artists. Holding a Masters in Theology, Doug has worked in ministries and in the community, combining the arts and educational principles to push our youth forward.

Very early in his career, Doug noticed the connection between arts and certain life skills, including communication, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, work ethic, and a positive attitude. 

His passion for sharing the arts led him to establish a community of instruction and love through Sparks United .united.

🎉We are super excited for students and their families to connect with Coach Doug next Thursday during our Orientation kick off session for Being The CEO of ME!

We’re excited to introduce our newest addition to the team who knows why it’s important to give students a voice:

👨🏻‍💻 Meet Coach Andrew!

Fun facts about him:

After studying Pre-Ministry and Servant Leadership in College, Andrew spent the next 10 years working with and investing in the next generation through student ministry and nonprofit work like the Boys and Girls Club Lanier and the 15Program in Atlanta.

Andrew has a drive and passion to bring in other passionate individuals to the Sparks team so that the kids in Sparks United continue to be inspired by the arts and empowered to develop their own talents and skills.

Andrew has his own organization Bridge the City he runs outside of his daily duties with Wayne Farms, one of the top 5 largest poultry companies in the country.

🎉We can’t wait for students and families to connect with Coach Andrew for our Winter/Spring Session of Being The CEO of ME!

We often say she needs no introduction because she is our ✨⭐️A-1 from Day 1✨⭐️ here at .

We are so excited to have Coach Pam .b back with us again this year helping us take our 2022 curriculum to the next level with so much in store for students!

👩🏽‍🏫 Meet Coach Pam!

If you’ve ever been to our Summer Camps, Shark Tank events, Just Say Yes STEMFEST or any other program we do 😆, you’ve no doubt seen her smiling face throughout the years facilitating, organizing, coordinating- you name it!

Fun Facts about her:

Pamela is the proud mother of an amazing 7-year daughter Faith Alexandria Brown.  Pamela has 23 years of Retail Management / Learning & Development experience during her tenure at Verizon Wireless, she was awarded the Coin of Excellence award twice for her role in outstanding performance & leadership.  Pamela is the Store Manager of the Cox Communication Retail Store in Macon, GA and owner of Brown and Mosley Consulting

Pamela studied at Strayer University pursuing a degree in Communication and Culture Studies.  Pamela serves as Curriculum Director for Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company where she enjoys advance their mission of turning everyday places into public learning classrooms.

😎We’ve expanded the curriculum, added fun and exciting ways for students to explore STEM, Art, and civic engagement activities and can’t wait for students to meet our new instructional coaches! 🙌🏾

👩🏽‍💻Meet Coach Jessica!

Coach Jessica has been a phenomenal addition to our instructional facilitation team, as well as a huge help in our efforts to diversify curriculum, increase access for our Spanish-speaking families, and assist us in navigating new fun ways to provide project-based, minds-on, hands-on learning opportunities for the whole family!

Here’s some fun facts to get to know her:

Jessica Peterson is CEO of A Uniquely Experience Inc

Born in Puerto Rico but raised in Georgia, Jessica is a mom of three girls and proud military wife.

“My biggest goal is to provide learning environments that give children around the world the confidence to achieve their wildest dreams!!”

She believes there is no possibility to big if you work towards it!
