Reminder that our Sensory Friendly showing of Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie will be Wednesday August 19th at 3:30pm!

During Sensory Friendly showtimes:
- Customers may move, talk, sing or otherwise express themselves as needed
- Increased lighting in auditorium during film
- Reduced sound volume to avoid overstimulation
- No trailers to minimize unexpected content
- "Safe foods" for sensory guests allowed during Sensory Friendly Screenings Only (outside drinks not allowed)
- Blankets, fidget toys, and similar needed items allowed in auditorium
- All ages welcome

IN YOUR COMMUNITY: Data from the CDC shows 1 in 6 children ages 3 to 17 have a developmental disability. In Lexington, a nonprofit is helping families navigate some of the most important learning moments in a child's life. Lexington Metro Reporter Ana Medina has more below.

⚾🧩⚾ We are proud to support the Dry Ridge Special Needs Baseball League . Our friends at Kentucky Hickory Autism Foundation are doing great things by launching this league.

School is almost starting and I want to ask you a favor... Sit with your child for 5 minutes and explain that there's never a reason to make fun of someone for their height, their weight, their skin tone, their home life or the things they enjoy. Explain there's nothing wrong with wearing the same shoes every day. Explain to them that a used backpack carries the same dreams as a new one.

Teach them not to exclude anyone for "being different" Explain to them that teasing hurts and that school is for going to LEARN, NOT to compete or spread negativity. Remind them some kids don't go home to loving families so it's important to be kind. It all starts at home!
