Subject: URGENT: Help Find My 2-Year-Old Daughter — Law Enforcement Has Not Helped
To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Khadjah Gardner, and I am pleading for your help. My 2-year-old daughter, J’Dah Gardner (DOB: 03/17/2023), has not been returned to me since June 4, 2025, after a short visit that began on May 28, 2025, with a man named Anthony Simpson.
Mr. Simpson claims to be her father, but he is not listed on her birth certificate, there is no court-ordered DNA test, and he has no legal or custodial rights. I have sole legal custody of my daughter. The visit was supposed to last one week, but J’Dah was never returned, and I have not spoken to her since the evening of June 4.
Since then, I have contacted the Mobile Police Department multiple times asking for help in recovering my daughter. Instead of cooperating, Mr. Simpson has made false reports accusing me of domestic violence and harassment. These claims are completely untrue and have resulted in an active warrant against me, which is now preventing me from entering a courtroom to take legal steps to get my daughter back.
I believe these false accusations were made intentionally to interfere with my ability to pursue custody enforcement through the legal system. I am actively trying to clear my name and resolve the warrant so I can continue doing everything I can to bring my child home.
Despite my efforts, law enforcement has not acted with the urgency this case demands. My daughter is a missing child, and I fear for her safety. I am asking the media for help in bringing awareness to this situation. I have attached a recent photo of J’Dah and a signed statement outlining the full circumstances.
You can reach me at 850-964-2762 or [email protected].
Please help me bring my daughter home.
Sincerely,
Khadjah Gardner
