At the Child Loss Center, our mission is to ensure that no family has to navigate grief alone. Through support groups, individual guidance, and community resources, we are dedicated to holding space for parents and families walking through loss.

Your generosity is what keeps these services accessible to every family who needs them across Georgia. If you are able to give, please consider making a donation to support our ongoing work and programming.

Every gift helps us continue walking alongside grieving families when they need it most.

💙 Black Maternal Mental Health Week 2026 (July 19-25) 💙

Every mother deserves to be heard. Every loss deserves to be acknowledged. Every family deserves support.

This week and always, we stand with Black mothers and families, honoring their strength while raising awareness of the mental health challenges and disparities that too often go unseen.

At Child Loss Center Inc., we believe healing begins with compassion, community, and equitable care. You are not alone. Together, we can create space for healing and hope.

During World Doula Week, we honor all doulas who support families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and even loss.

Grief doulas provide compassionate support to families experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, or life-limiting diagnoses. They offer emotional support, help families create meaningful memories, support decision-making, and walk alongside families through birth and grief.

Doulas provide something every family deserves, continuous support, compassion, and care.

This past weekend, Dr. Fountain participated in the SheLeads Initiative Academy to learn more about navigating the political space from the best leaders in Georgia. While she does not intend to run for any office, Dr. Fountain will focus on increasing legislative involvement so parents who have experienced child loss can have an amplified voice regarding issues that impact them.

Thank you to Commissioner Alana Sanders (Newton Co) and Dr. Ulecia Bailey for leading and teaching with energy and excellence, to Vivian A Jackson for administering and serving, and to those who shared wisdom: Mayor Beverly Burks (Clarkston, Co.), House Representative Donna T. McLeod, Commissioner Nicole Massiah (District 3), LaShun Atwaters (Chief of Staff, District 3), Nalah Lewis (New Politics Academy) and House Representative Billy Mitchell (Georgia).

✨ On this , our hearts are full of gratitude. Because of your compassion and generosity, Child Loss Center Inc. has been able to walk alongside grieving families, offering solace, healing, and community when they need it most.

Through your support, we’ve been able to:
💙 Send care cards that let parents know they are seen and supported when loss feels too heavy.

💙 Host healing services, from expressive arts, yoga, to brainspotting, to help hearts and minds mend.

💙 Educate professionals and communities about the realities of infertility, pregnancy loss, and child loss, and the compassionate care that families deserve.

Today, we ask you to consider amplifying our impact. A gift of any size can bring comfort to a grieving family and build a more compassionate world where no parent walks alone. 🫶🏾

Thank you for holding space, sharing love, and standing with families who continue to grieve. 🌱

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. It is an annual day of remembrance observed on October 15 for pregnancy loss and infant death, which includes miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, ectopic pregnancy, termination for medical reasons, and the death of a newborn. If you’ve experienced loss, please know that you do not have to grieve in silence. There is support. Please check out our resources @ https://www.childlosscenter.org 💙
