Hindrances to Prayer
Is God Answering Your Prayer, or does it seem as if He's not listening? Hearing no reply can be very discouraging, especially when you really need His help. Although it's not always possible to know why God is silent, James offers some possible reasons:
SIN (James 4:1-2). Unaddress sin hinder communication with God. This may have been the case with the recipients of James's letter, who were quarreling and feeling animosity.
WRONG MOTIVES (v.3). Sometimes our petitions may be self- centered. James clearly says that God won't answer this kind of prayer, which amounts to asking for our will to be done rather than His.
WORLDLY DESIRES (v.4). The world presents deceptive philosophies that lure us away from pure devotion to Christ. When we find more pleasure in its offering than in Jesus, we become vulnerable and can easily be distracted from things that are of eternal value. Whether we realize it it not, this puts us in opposition to God.
If you recognize any of these hindrances in your life, the solution is clear: Confess and repent of your sinful attitudes, actions and desires(1John 1:9). Then thank God and rejoice in His cleansing.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. You’re playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that others won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

WALKING WITH GOD
Walking with someone when you cannot agree on the direction or goal is frustrating, yet that's exactly what we sometimes try to do with God. In the Scriptures, He gives us guidance for life. But then, when we don't follow it, we're surprised to see that He's walking in a different direction than we are.
Scripture uses the term "walk " to describe the course of a person's life. For instance, Noah walked with God by having a relationship with Him through faith (Gen.6:9). And John's gospel uses the phrase "walk in the Light" (1 John 1:7) to explain what is required of those who want to follow Jesus.
To walk with the Lord in His Light if our life is characterized by bitterness, or resentment toward others.
Are you trying to carry old baggage into your walk with the Lord? The attitudes in order for you to walk with God.

The cycle has to be broken. But the problem is people are alright just where they are and when you refuse to be apart of the FOOLISHNESS any long but you are consider to be better. But at some point in your life you have to say enough is enough. God doesn't bless all the same way what is for you is for you. We are to be happy for other people blessing and celebrate. But some us get jealous and envy but I know if God will do it for you He will also bless me even if it not the same way. At some point we have to grow up and follow God direction for our lives. Sometime people hate your spiritual and will try to use that against you. But thank God I know who I am and whose I am and satan those tricks doesn't work anymore I have spirituality grown.
I know my Grandma is not pleased 😔......It's sad 😢 but just the naked truth .. family ain't what it used to be no more...They gang up on different family members .... it used to be a time when you could go to your Grandma's house to get a plate and chill with your cousins, get love from your aunts and uncles, and just have fun, but now everybody CHOOSE who they wanna deal with. Aunts/Uncles CHOOSE which kids to be proud of ... brothers and sisters treat their friends more like family. Cousins talk about their own family members and don't realize they are also flawed ... Grandparents spend time with certain grandkids .... Now only time you see family is during a funerals or weddings, and even then they're either fighting or talking about everybody! This cycle needs to change !!!!!!

ALWAYS in HIS PRESENCE
David asked "Where can I go from Your Spirit?" The more he pondered the possibilities, the more e realized the answer is "nowhere." God is present everywhere and at all times. This reality causes people to react in one of two ways some find it a great comfort while others are filled with dread.
People who don't know the Lord may think that He's always judging their every move. But for those of us who belong to God through faith in His Son, His continual presence is a great comfort. We never have to walk through trials and heartaches alone, and we have complete confidence that He's always providing, protecting, and guiding us through life.
This truth should change how we live. Knowing that God is ever present motivates us to think, speak, and behave in ways that glorify Him. It's a reminder to stand firm against temptations and pursue holiness.
There's never a single moment in which the Lord is not looking out for your best interests. Nothing slips past Him into your life by accident, nor does the enemy have even a nano second's opportunity to destroy you. This is the security we receive as believers, so let's rejoice in knowing God is always with us.

A PATTERN for SERVANTHOOD
Jesus to His disciples."Whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant" (Matt.) 20:26). In Bible times, the lowest servant of the house washed dusty feet. So the disciple must have been surprised when Jesus performed this humble task for them. He explainedHis shocking behavior by saying , If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another feet" (John 13:14). Based on those words, many churches have turned foot washing into an ordinance; they believethat this act shows Christlikeness and demonstrates willingness to serve. Pershap that's true for some believers, but many perform the ceremony by rote. Jesus' message to the to the disciples and to modern believers is not literally to wash dirty feet, but rather to serve one another with humility and love.
True servanthood is not a popular topic because many people regard it as beneath them. But God wants us to see ourselves as living sacrifices.o serve the Lord well, we must be willing do whatever He asks for whomever He asks. Our Christlikeness is evident when we love God and others so much that we willingly humble ourselves for their sake.
Jesus performed one of the lowliest tasks of His day to demonstrate His servanthood. What are you willing to do for Him?

TRUSTING GOD to LEAD US
To be called children of God means that we earnestly seek His redemption not just for ourselves but for the whole world. So when Jesus says, " For they shall be called sons of God" (Matt. 5:9), He defining what a peacemaker is someone who believes and trusts the Father to lead us.
Thinking of God as "Father is reassuring and affirming for many believers. But there are others of us who have a complicated relationship with our earthly father, and this can affect the way we think of and relate to God. To better understand who He is, we need only look at Scripture to see a few of His attributes: He is holy (Isa.6:3; Rev.4:8), gracious and compassionate(Ps.103:8), unchanging (James 1:17), and a faithful Creator(1Peter 4:19).
Think About It
How do you relate to the idea of God as "heavenly Father"?
If knowing God intimately is crucial to walking in our calling as peacemakers, it means we must be committed to spending time with Him. What's standing in the way of your relationship with the Father right now? Confess it and ask for His help.

THE WORDS of OUR FAITH
Some churches today avoid using biblical language to describe what it means to be saved. because the terms can be confusing. However, since God chose these words to convey the greatness of our salvation, we should not overlook them. In order to understand grace, it is essential that we grasp the following concepts:
REDEMPTION refers to Christ's payment for sin in other words, His death purchased us for God.
Redeneration is a supernatural work of yje Holy Spirit, in which He gives us divine life and makes us into new creatures.
Justification is God's declarartion that through our faith in Christ, we are righteous and acquitted of guilt for sin.
Forgiveness is the removal of our guilt: to accomplish this, Jesus went to the cross in our place and bore our sins (1Peter 2:24)
Reconciliation is the restoration of a right relationship with God. No longer His enemies, we're now his beloved children.
Sanctification means to be set apart for God. It's the process by which we grow in holiness and obedience.
The more you understand the depths of your salvation, the greater your awe, gratitude, and love for Jesus will be. So meditate on these truths and the fullness of your salvation, and let them fill your mind and heart today.

HANDLING CONFLICT AND CRITICISM
Contention can cause pain, especially when we feel misunderstood or wrongly accused. If someone speaks untruths about us, it seems as though salt is being poured into the wound. A typically first reaction is self-defense and an attempt to claim our rights, yet God's Word teaches a different approach.
Contrary to our natural inclinations, the proper response to criticism and conflict is humility. In Psalm 7, David laments being persecuted but immediately asks the Lord to test his own heart and reveal if he has done anything wrong. Then, instead of taking matters into his own hands, he asks the Lord to vindicate him.
Roman 12:19 reminds us never to take our own revenge, but rather to leave vengeance to God. As 12:21 tells us, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." In other words, we must leave the situation with God and trust Him to vindicate us in His time and way.
We should ask ourselves, Am I willing to check my own motives before pointing a finger or becoming defensive? Jesus said we've to bless those who curse us (Luke 6:28). So let's ask Him for the grace and humility to examine our own heart and trust Him to be our defender.
