ISOH International Society of Olympic Historians The International Society of Olympic Historians (ISOH) is a member organization promoting/studying aspects of the Olympic Movement and Olympic Family.

The International Society of Olympic Historians (ISOH), founded in 1991, has been a recognized organization of the International Olympic Committee since 1996. ISOH has 455 members in 55 nations. The membership of ISOH includes academics, journalists and people who are simply passionate about the Olympic Games and the values they represent. Among the members are experts in every aspect of the Olymp

ic Movement, from the ancient games and the founders’ philosophy to the stories of the athletes and the competitions, and the Paralympics. The majority of recent books on the Olympic Games were written by ISOH members, and more than 20 ISOH members earned the prestigious Olympic Order for contributions to the Olympic Movement. ISOH publishes the Journal of Olympic History three times a year. The organization also presents annual awards to Olympic historians and to the authors of books and articles. We're happy to round out our posts of all 40 entries (from 35 NOCs) with the entries from Albania, Armenia, Olympic Team Austria, Hrvatski olimpijski odbor, Danmark til OL, საქართველოს ეროვნული ოლიმპიური კომიტეტი/Georgian National Olympic Committee, Team Hungary, CONI, Latvijas Olimpiskā Komiteja, Türkiye Milli Olimpiyat Komitesi and НОК України та олімпійська команда/NOC of Ukraine and the Olympic Team. Through a collaboration with International Olympic Academy and ISOH, the Olympics History Youth Poster Competition is underway at the 66th Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors in ancient Olympia, Greece. Presented with this post: Seven entries from young professionals representing ANOC Olympic committees including Comité Olímpico Angolano, Comité Olímpico Cabo-verdiano, CNOSM - Comité National Olympique et Sportif du Mali, Seychelles Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association, Comité National Olympique Tunisien - CNOT, Uganda Olympic Committee and Zimbabwe Olympic Committee. We'll share more of the 40 entries from 35 NOCs during the awards ceremony coming mid-June.
