The Rotary Club of North Gwinnett is honored and happy to support some of the families of Ferguson Elementary, part of Gwinnett County Public Schools system, for Christmas! Rotary Zones 33/34 Rotary District 6910

The spirit of giving is alive and well in our district!

We’re proud to recognize GPCID Executive Director Joe Allen and the Rotary Club of North Gwinnett for once again adopting a family at Ferguson Elementary School, located right here in Gwinnett Place. This is an annual tradition for the club, and this year Joe and the Rotary Club delivered once again, providing thoughtful gifts and meaningful support to a local family in need.

Wednesday November 12th - the Rotary Club of North Gwinnett welcomed Jeff, who joined us to share insight into his work as a Freemason and the mission of the Scottish Rite Foundation.

Jeff walked us through the Foundation’s role in supporting children and families through critical speech and learning services, and how the Freemasons quietly step in to meet needs across the community. His message centered on service, partnership, and lending a hand before anyone even has to ask — very much in the Rotary spirit.

Jeff also brings an impressive professional background to the table. He’s a 37-year criminal justice veteran with deep experience in investigations, emergency management, disaster response, and training. He’s taught at the collegiate level, written policy, and now serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Loganville. He holds a Doctorate in Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University and is widely respected for his leadership across public safety and local government.

We were also thrilled to induct Quentin Jackson as the newest member of our club. Quentin embodies the spirit of service and commitment to community that keeps Rotary strong.

Wednesday October 22nd - the Rotary Club of North Gwinnett welcomed nonprofit leader Randy Redner — and celebrated the induction of our newest member, Chris Earnest.

Randy drew from his deep experience building high-performing teams and running successful campaigns, showing how those same principles helped him lead the push to educate and promote e-SPLOST for the entire community. His message was clear: strong teams, clear communication, and mission-driven leadership can move anything forward — from nonprofits to countywide education initiatives.

We also proudly welcomed Chris Earnest into the club. Chris brings energy, commitment, and a genuine passion for service — exactly what Rotary’s all about.

Wednesday September 24th - the Rotary Club of North Gwinnett welcomed Paul Oh for a deep dive into the renewal of e-SPLOST.

As the Director of Public Policy & Community Affairs for the Gwinnett Chamber, Paul works with leaders at every level to champion policies that strengthen our schools and our business community. He broke down why renewing e-SPLOST is critical to keeping Gwinnett’s education system competitive — from funding modern facilities to supporting the growth that keeps our classrooms strong.

Paul reminded us that good policy starts with clear information and community support. And in true Paul fashion, he kept it real: relationships matter, kindness matters, and showing up for our schools always matters.

Ruthann is a strategic advisor and former C-suite executive who helps organizations lead with clarity, integrity, and real impact. She’s spent decades guiding leaders through growth, change, and cultural renewal — bringing a radically human approach to high-stakes decision-making. Her work centers on one core belief: when leaders show up with authenticity, organizations thrive.

She shared insights on leadership, succession, and building aligned, resilient teams — the kind of practical wisdom that hits home whether you’re running a boardroom or serving in the community.
