Yesterday, we had the privilege of hearing artist Patrick Eugène share his journey of choosing creativity, trusting his vision, and building a life around his artistic practice.

In a powerful conversation with Alex Delotch Davis, Patrick reflected on the courage it took to pursue art full-time, navigate the expectations that often come with Caribbean families encouraging more traditional career paths, and remain committed to the path he knew was meant for him.

He spoke candidly about representing his Haitian heritage through his work, the importance of staying connected to culture, and how moving to Atlanta helped him find a community and village that has embraced, supported, and championed his artistic journey.

Stories like Patrick’s remind us that creativity is not only a profession—it is a calling. And when nurtured by community, it has the power to transform lives.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the final ADAMA Arts Salon of the season. What a beautiful way to close this chapter. 🖤✨

What a way to open. ⚽️🌍✨

This weekend, our community stepped inside The African Game and experienced far more than an exhibition. From the energy in the room to the stories unfolding across every wall, the night became an immersive celebration of culture, movement, memory, and connection.

Through the lens of Andrew Dosunmu, football became a universal language — one that carried us across the African continent and reminded us how deeply art can connect people across borders, generations, and lived experiences.

And honestly… this is just the beginning.

Over the next few months, The African Game will continue to grow into a living experience for Atlanta — with conversations, gatherings, storytelling, and moments that bring our community together in powerful new ways ahead of the World Cup.

Thank you to everyone who came out, showed love, shared space, and helped us kick off this monumental moment for ADAMA. We can’t wait for what’s next.

The game is officially on. 🇳🇬🇬🇭🇸🇳🇨🇲⚽️
