Cooper Piano has always made an effort to be involved in the community around us, but I'm excited to announce the first act we have done as a foundation. We loaned a Baldwin Concert piano for an amazing event called "Tower of Talent" This event will be streaming on 11 Alive this Saturday at 7pm and the funds raised go to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's music therapy program. This event lines up perfectly with our mission to make sure kids get to experience the healing powers of music. We are so honored to have been able to supply the piano for an outstanding musician and we are so excited to hear him play!! Below is a link to learn more about the event:

Hello friends! I am incredibly proud and excited to announce my family's creation of "The Cooper Family Foundation for Young Artists!"

Since I began working at my family's 114-year-old company, Cooper Piano, my uncle, Blake and I have talked about ways we can give back to our Atlanta community. We know how important music is to this community, but we also know it isn't always accessible to all. Our goal is to help young artists get the support they need to pursue and discover their passions.

We will do this by connecting with young artists and assisting them in finding good instructors and the educational resources they need. We will develop a network of the best instructors in the area who are willing to donate their time to promising young artists that could not otherwise afford good teachers. We will also set up an instrument exchange to be able to assist young musicians in acquiring the instruments they need to help them grow musically, thus avoiding their progress being hampered by an inferior instrument. The foundation will also raise funds to provide scholarships for lessons, music camps, and even music college.

By raising funds through events and concerts, we hope to tap into the generosity of the Atlanta community and help Atlanta to continue to be "the" center for culture in the Southeast.
