Our Roswell members recently gathered at Roswell Junction for a wonderful evening of fellowship, food, and community spirit. Of course, when we get together, we never come empty handed! This month, members collected food and toiletries for the pantry at The Drake House.

The Drake House provides short-term crisis housing, support, and stability programs for homeless mothers and their children in North Fulton. Their pantry helps stock essentials for the families they serve, providing groceries, hygiene items, and everyday necessities to help ease financial burdens while families work toward long-term stability and independence.

We are proud to support organizations that make such a meaningful impact in our community. Thank you Barbara, Hannah, Cimi , Lisa and Tessa.

Our club sponsors a stretch of road on Commerce Parkway in Roswell (look for our sign!) —and let’s just say, we’ve seen things… things no one should ever toss out a car window 😄

But here’s the truth: it doesn’t matter how “dirty” the job is—it’s who you’re doing it with. Somehow, picking up roadside mystery items turns into laughter, creative stories from Tessa and a whole lot of “you are NOT going to believe what I just found!”

We may come for the service, but we stay for the fun. Because when you’ve got great people by your side, even trash day feels like a party 🎉

Join the fun and join us - we will be at Roswell Junction on Thursday at 6:30 pm. Look for someone in a bling GFWC Georgia Shirt - we will welcome you with open arms - all are welcome!

Exciting news! Our club was honored to receive two state awards recognizing our work in arts & culture —particularly our projects with Children’s Hospital of Atlanta.

These awards are judged alongside submissions from clubs across the state, making this recognition especially meaningful. We are truly honored to be recognized at the state level and proud of the impact our members continue to make in our community.

If you want to learn more about our club - join us at Roswell Junction this Thursday, April 30 at 6:30pm.

This month, our Roswell Cares members came together for a meaningful meeting, we collected and created two very large baskets for seniors who have been identified as needing extra support. Each basket was filled with hygiene items, cleaning products, crossword and puzzle books, and snacks—small comforts to brighten their days and ease everyday needs.

We are honored to partner with North Fulton Community Charities to ensure these baskets reach the seniors who need them most. They will help deliver these gifts directly into the hands of those we hope to uplift and encourage.

Join us next time andlet’s do something good together!

What a wonderful day representing Roswell Cares at the NW District Meeting! Four of our members were in attendance as we celebrated not only the meaningful work accomplished over the past year, but also the friendships that make this organization so special.

Our President, Tessa Turner, delivered an inspiring speech reflecting on her time at Tallulah Falls. She expressed her gratitude to our Georgia members for their continued investment in the students and the future of the school—it truly touched everyone in the room.

We were also proud to be recognized for our efforts, bringing home several honors including multiple 2nd place awards and an outstanding 1st place award in Health & Wellness.

And last but certainly not least, a very special congratulations to our own Keely Douglass, who received the President’s “Rising Star” Award for her dedication to our District President’s Special Project, the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta and Camp Brightside, continues to inspire us all.

We are so proud of our members and grateful to be part of such an impactful and supportive community! 💙
Thank you Maria for your leadership.

Thank you to host clubs - Atlanta, Dunwoody, Acworth Carrie Dyer Woman’s Clubs - it was a pleasure to serve as hostesses with you.

Congratulations to all the clubs today and a special Congratulations to the 2026-2028 administration.

Are you ready to make a real difference right here in our community?

We’re looking for women who:
• Care about making a positive impact
• Want meaningful friendships (not just Facebook likes 😉)
• Believe service still matters
• Are ready to roll up their sleeves and give back

You don’t have to have extra time.
You don’t have to “know how it all works.”
You just have to care.

Through our connection with the Georgia Federation of Women’s Clubs, we are part of a statewide and national movement of women making an impact in education, veterans’ support, literacy, the arts, and community improvement.

This is your invitation. If you’ve been looking for:
🌸 Purpose
🌸 Community
🌸 A place to belong
🌸 A way to serve locally and lead boldly

We would love to meet you.

Once again, Our Roswell Cares Service League members had the joy of hosting a Patient Party and Craft Event at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta this past Saturday.

We spent time with some incredible kids. The kids enjoyed St. Patty’s Day–themed crafts and our always-popular Music Bingo, complete with prizes.

Bringing a little joy and distraction to these brave children is truly a privilege, and we’re grateful for every opportunity to brighten their day.
