Fulton Education Foundation has placed the first several families in temporary housing this past weekend, with funding provided by the Greater Atlanta COVID-19 Recovery and Response Fund, a partnership between the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta and United Way of Greater Atlanta. This program is providing relief to families of Fulton County public school students who are struggling with loss of income, and improves stability for the young students who are trying to adjust to their new remote-learning environment. With over 1300 homeless students within Fulton County Schools, and over 300 living in weekly-rentals, the need for support is greater than ever.
