The Ena Pearl Foundation was founded on December 28, 2006, by Kitson Walker. Ena Pearl Martin-Walker was a woman of deep Christian conviction.
The impetus of the foundation is to create an environment that would increase the quality of education and health available to the students and their families living in rural St. Thomas, Jamaica. The focus will be on the early childhood, primary, secondary, and college/university educational levels. In addition, the foundation works to confront the issues surrounding health as part of the overall strategy for addressing deficiencies that exist in St. Thomas.

The Ena Pearl Foundation was founded on December 28, 2006, by Kitson Walker. Ena Pearl Martin-Walker was a woman of deep Christian conviction. She immigrated to the United States in the late 1960s with the hope of providing a better life for her family. The drive for her desire to immigrate was in part motivated by the idea that her children could get a better education and quality of life.
