Hello Facebook fam thanks for stopping by. As we work to develop our social media presence, we wanted to share our first project with you. Such exciting times! 😆
A few months ago our founder Maureen Walrond was informed that many children, in the primary school she attended as a child in Guyana South America, were going to school without breakfast. That did not sit well with her at all! So she set out to change this. 🏃🏾♀️
On September of 2019 under the Vera B. Foundation, along with the help of friends and family, launched the 1 Guyana Project to provide daily breakfast for the children of the La Retraite Primary School. We could not have been able to accomplish this without our supporters. ❤️❤️❤️
