Let’s Help David Take His First Steps!
We are starting a fundraising campaign for a special cause close to our extended family in Germany.
David was born in 2016 in Austria, prematurely, with an APGAR score of zero due to a severe placental abruption. After several minutes of resuscitation, he survived but was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and spastic tetraparesis. Since then, his journey has been filled with numerous therapies and surgeries in Austria, Spain, and Romania.
Today, David can only move with support, wearing orthotics and special shoes. But there is hope! In Munich, Germany, he is scheduled for two life-changing surgeries:
1️⃣ Tendon and muscle lengthening – $20,000
2️⃣ Selective dorsal rhizotomy (to reduce spasticity) – $10,000
At a charity event organized at Sângeorz-Băi Kindergarten (Romania) on December 13, more than $7,500 was raised. We are deeply grateful, but there’s still a long way to go to meet the total amount needed.
