This is such a hard one to post. Some of the gals that come in the ministry just have a tug on my heart. Dejah was one of those gals. She is family too,my daughter in laws sister.
She was fun, kind and had many other qualities. She poured into the word and loved Jesus. God knew her struggles and called her home. Please pray for her family especially her beautiful children. Dejah you will be missed by many. Fly high dear one.

Please pray for one of our graduates as she goes to court today. I want her to trust the Lord and that everything will go well.

Today I got news that eventually I knew I would. It breaks my heart and makes me so sad for her family. One of our Potter’s House residence has passed away. She has struggled for years but the last few times I spoke with her she seemed to be doing well. She didn’t live around here.
She came to the ministry right from jail and was so excited to be there. She had a big heart and was so talented. All I can say is I despise drugs and dealers. Lord be with her family and comfort them at this time.

Asking for my prayer warriors to be praying for one of my graduates. She has a big court case tomorrow. Please pray for the judge to have mercy and for the Holy Spirit to go before her. I also want her to trust HIS plan for her life no matter what.

I don’t know where to even begin. This journey started over 30 years ago. My desire to minister to women started out from pain. The pain of seeing those who suffered from abuse, abortion,rape, u***d pregnancy, drug and alcohol addiction etc… My momma always said I was a fixer and I guess being the first born I had that characteristic. But my main focus is loving and helping. I have always wanted to point people to Jesus. With all that being said I love ministry and the Potter’s House has been a continuation of that. We officially opened in July, 2019. It has been one of the hardest, best things I have ever been a part of! Lots of trials and tears. Lots of love and laughter. Lots of pain and healing.
But through prayer, waiting and trusting, the residential part of the ministry will close as of September 1. We will still continue to disciple, counsel and mentor any lady seeking help.
Our lives have taken on new exciting roles and we know God has some awesome things in the making!
I just want to thank EVERYONE who has touched the ministry. From prayer, teaching, volunteering, supporting, provided homes, Godly counsel etc..
I know so many lives have been changed for good and many testimonies could be shared! I will always hold the precious memories in my heart. I am blessed to be a part of graduates lives and receive weekly calls and messages from many. God has blessed me in ways I could never imagine!!
