It was awesome learning how to raise chicks during the special online classes. However, my chicks were delivered while I was at work. Animal control said that I could try chickens and goats if I have enough backyard space. Actually, we have roosters all over the neighborhood in Derita especially on Cindy Lane and Nevins. They wake us up every morning at sunrise. The loose chickens near the park on Fincher chase us as if they are our pets but are good predicters of bad weather! Eggs are very expensive so I'm not complaining. Chickens get my upmost respect!

Food insecurity is a serious issue especially in our senior communities. As seniors age, they forget the importance of daily nutrition. And senior communities fail to remind seniors about daily nutrition, exercise, and hygiene. While we strive to help nonprofits qualify for funding by writing grants, GrantAwish works to deliver free food from local food pantries to seniors that express this need. children who grow up in violent environments

The House of Representatives passed bipartisan legislation to expand background checks on gun sales back in March, but the Senate STILL hasn’t taken it up for a vote.
