🌟 Success Spotlight: Jamie Pitt 🌟

Jamie Pitt joined our six-month pilot program with the Georgia Department of Community Supervision in Clayton County right after finishing another short-term jail sentence—one of many in her life. She wanted to change. She just didn’t know how to start.

That’s where we came in.

After her orientation and first coaching session, we built a plan: weekly one-on-one coaching and bi-monthly life skills training. Within 48 hours, we helped her land a job interview at Fresh Express—and she was hired on the spot. šŸ’¼

But getting a job was just the beginning. Through coaching, Jamie revealed that her biggest challenge was confidence. So we focused on that. We tackled short- and long-term goals, communication skills, conflict resolution, financial literacy, and time management.

And Jamie showed up. Every. Single. Time. šŸ’Ŗ

Within two months, she went from quiet and uncertain to leading group discussions with boldness and clarity.

Midway through our program, Jamie faced a new challenge—her current work hours made it hard to care for her aging father. We updated her resume and prepped her for interviews. Around the same time, our partners at Wayfair asked if we had a strong candidate to recommend.

Guess who got the job? šŸŽÆ

Not only did Jamie nail the interview—she got the shift she needed and a pay bump. She’s been thriving at Wayfair for six months now and loves her new path.

One lesson Jamie says stuck with her the most was this:

ā€œAlways be more growth conscious than goal conscious.ā€

That mindset helped turn her life around.

When we asked her what the easiest and hardest part of reintegration was, she told us:

ā€œThe easiest was knowing that y’all saw me as a person and not just a number. The hardest? Facing my past—and owning it.ā€

Jamie Pitt is proof that with the right support, second chances lead to powerful futures. šŸ’«

My First Client Was My Brother.
Before 4Horsemen was ever a program… it was personal.
Years ago, my brother was incarcerated—and I made a decision that changed both of our lives. I connected with him while he was still inside. I didn’t wait. I didn’t judge. I showed up. And every month, I treated putting money on his books like it was a bill—because it was. It was an investment in his dignity.
And something amazing happened.
He no longer had to hustle. He didn’t have to hang around people trying to get over. Instead, he started hanging around people who were trying to get better. That shift in who he spent time with was the beginning of real growth.
By the time he came home, he wasn’t starting from zero—he was already on a path to becoming a better man.
That experience became the foundation of what we now call the TAP program at 4Horsemen. Everything I poured into helping him—connection, coaching, consistency—is now part of what we offer to hundreds of other men and women rebuilding after incarceration.
This month, we’re raising $13,000 to expand that work. We’ve got the team. We’ve got the heart. And with your support, we can keep building brighter futures—one relationship at a time.

šŸŽ‰ We’re 25% Funded and Ready for More! šŸŽ‰

Thanks to you, we're a quarter of the way to our goal, but there’s still work to do, and we’re making it fun! Here’s one reason we’re so pumped:

Stephanie A. went from rock bottom to rockstar! Terminated from an assistant manager job, she felt totally defeated—until one powerful session with our mentor, James, flipped the script. She applied for a line cook job and ended up hired as an Assistant District Manager with a $12K salary boost! šŸš€šŸ’¼ Talk about a comeback!

We’re on a mission to create more stories like Stephanie’s, but we need YOU to help us reach that 100%. Every dollar fuels someone’s journey to a better life. Let’s finish this year STRONG!

This November, I’m hosting a fundraiser for the Transition Assistance Process (TAP) Program through 4Horsemen.

Too many people struggle after being released from prison. They’re expected to rebuild their lives from scratch, often without the social skills or networks they need to succeed. It’s a tough reality, and I want to help change that.

My passion for this cause started in 1996. My brother, after being released from prison, worked 60 hours a week as a dishwasher. But when the restaurant found out about his past, they fired him on the spot. I’ll never forget the injustice of that moment. Everyone deserves the dignity of work—the opportunity to meet basic needs like food, clothing, and shelter. Without that chance, many are forced back into a cycle of crime just to survive.

I’m committed to breaking that cycle through our TAP program.

Please join me in making a difference! Support our fundraiser this November and help change lives. šŸ™ŒšŸ’™
