Hello all! Looking for my GA peeps in the following areas who are interested in CBS training through Ready Set Push for just 200 ( usually 675). We have one person from Albany region already ( she signed up last time and we were waiting on funding). Can you think of anyone from these areas who wants to complete their CBS? Below are the regions and the people we need from those areas.

Albany region- 1
Augusta region- 1
Columbus region- 2
Hinesville/ Houston- 2
Rome/ Athens region - 2
Savannah region- 2

Please share with your networks. This is a great opportunity with potential to do additional contract work.

This past year held a lot at one time; meaningful work, real progress, complicated systems, grief, growth, fatigue, connection, and responsibility. Some things went as planned. Some didn’t. Some doors opened, others closed, and many lessons were learned in the middle.

We are especially aware of families who trusted us; communities carrying so much often without enough support; the weight of maternal and infant health inequities that remain and all of the quiet work happening every day that isn’t visible on social media.

The partnerships and relationships that were formed and strengthened this year were so impactful. I know I keep saying “if you wanna go far go together” but man did this year show just how true that phrase is.

Thank you to those who worked alongside us this year, who extended patience, collaboration, or honest feedback. It mattered and it grew us. Thank you to all who celebrated, shared, invited, reposted, met with us and worked with us.

Our focus continues to be the same. We want to be steady, focused on the community and consistently improving our foundation and operations to get better and better. Thanks for sharing the journey with us

We can’t let the day close without thanking everyone for a successful . We are reminded that the work we do matters; not just in the quiet ways but in ways that resonate long after the interaction. Here are some of our highlights:

Shaunette Young-Adams donated $250. When I called her to thank her she said she was so happy to get our email and grateful that we’re still here doing the work.

Angela Orenzack IBCLC an advisory board member became a monthly donor! How supportive is that! She says she wants to inspire others to do the same.

Atalya Rajahn, CBS, MPH, IBCLC wrote a beautiful post that lifted us up yesterday, but she always does. She’s consistent, loyal, and the best director of everthing 😂 here Ready Set Push Inc that we could ever ask for.

Stacy-Ann Louie and Rebecca Kerby shared and reposted our posts all day. They donated too! It was like they were pushing us all day to keep going! Thanks so much to the both of you.

Sonia Pahade our intern made a donation and that definitely made us want to push harder.

So many of you lifted us up, encouraged us to do the campaign and supported us in real ways. We appreciate all of you. Tamara Mason, MPH, CHES thanks for the push and the money🥰. Nicole Gray you started us off strong encouraging people to remember us yesterday. Your support is so important and we don’t take it for granted.

This collective support has been inspiring to say the least. Thanks to all of you again. We will definitely be at it again but most importantly we’ll keep pushing through the boundaries and standing in the gaps for families who need it

As we come to the end of we want to thank all of our supporters, those who shared, posted, encouraged and donated. We made it halfway to our goal which is impressive. We even got a donation from our intern Sonia Pahade ( the sweetest one!). Thanks to all who believe in us and speak such encouraging words. They matter! The day is not over so if you want to donate there’s still time! Thanks again everyone. We will continue to lead the charge alongside so many others and stand in the gap for the community.

This year we received a grant to train 10 certified breastfeeding specialist. Listen to one of our graduates talk about what it means for him and how he is now earning hours towards his IBCLC through Ready Set Latch cafes. We are doing amazing things!
