The Pathways 4 Equity (P4E) Program is a career development program designed to break down employment barriers and unlock career pathways for women impacted by the criminal legal system.

The program goals are twofold: first, to advance equity through business partnerships that support the expansion of hiring policies and diversity, equity, and inclusion practices. Second, to prepare women for career opportunities by providing training to upskill for today’s industries, and establishing career pathways with employers that offer family-supporting wages and growth-focused opportunities.

The P4E Career Ready Fellowship is industry specific with employers in target cities and states. We form partnerships with businesses that are interested in candidates to fill open positions, participate in industry apprenticeships, or who are interested in creating a customized P4E Fellowship. When we confirm a partnership with an employer, we recruit women for the Career Ready Fellowship Track based on the city and state where the employer is located. Women in the Career Ready Fellowship Track make a 12-month commitment that includes 3-months of weekly workshops, a continuing education scholarship, mentoring, and career transition support.

Applicant Eligibility:

- Women impacted by the criminal legal system (directly or indirectly through a family member)
- Interested in working for an employer who offers family-supporting wages, benefits, and career opportunities
- Ready to make a 100% commitment to your professional development

Applications for the Summer 2023 Cohort are due by June 9, 2023.

Interested individuals can learn more and apply by visiting www.thelohm.org or clicking the link below.

Mercer University graduate students are actively seeking participants who were formerly incarcerated to help them in their research. All you need to do is take a QUICK, 15-minute online survey. Your experience and thoughts are so important and extremely valuable in helping improve the lives of many post-incarceration. Your help in taking this survey is one step in improving health for all people who were recently released from jail or prison and prevent regression back into the system.

This survey is completely ANONYMOUS, and they will NOT ask for any personal, identifying information. Unfortunately, there is not any compensation, however, they would like to stress the importance of gathering this info to help recently released people and that it will take less than 20 minutes to complete.

To get started, FIRST, Fill out this informed consent which tells them you approve to be a participant: https://merceruniversity.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7aebqjVxCssbhkO
