TheMemphis Chapter of the Drifters, Inc.. made history yesterday! We hosted the District 7 County Commissioner Candidate Forum — an evening that was both informative and empowering for our community.

Our own Drifter Sister, Dr. Telisa Franklin, did a wonder job serving as our moderator for the evening. Voters were able to hear directly from the candidates, ask real questions, and gain clarity on issues that impact our neighborhoods every day. Moments like this remind us that civic engagement is not just a right — it’s a responsibility.

We are proud to create spaces where voices are heard, knowledge is shared, and informed decisions can be made. Thank you to every candidate, attendee, and volunteer who helped make this event meaningful and impactful.

The Memphis Drifters, Inc. stand united to honor survivors, support those still fighting, and remember loved ones we’ve lost. 💕

💐 Members are encouraged to wear a pink flower or pin during events this month.
